Good news: The Pinoys have jelled as a team and are finally making their outside shots. Team Pilipinas shot 50% from the 3-point line versus Taiwan and a little over 30% against Kuwait.

Bad news: Jordan is their opponent in the knockout quarter finals game. The Jordanians demolished the Philippines with a 30-point win in their last meeting at the Jones Cup.

Their only lost in Tianjin was against the Chinese last night by 6 points which means that Jordan is beatable if the Philippines can bring their A-game in their duel for a spot in the semi-finals. I'm taking the Pinoys plus the points.
